ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Kate: The creative force behind Theia Jewelry, a visionary designer, devoted wife, mother, daughter, and a woman driven by purpose.

Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea until the age of twelve, Kate moved to New Zealand, where she spent her formative years and early adulthood. This cross-cultural upbringing deeply shaped her worldview and creative identity, blending the grace of Eastern traditions with the bold spirit of the West.

After a successful career in New Zealand’s banking and finance industry, Kate followed her passion for art and design, eventually settling in the Dallas–Fort Worth area to pursue her dream of creating meaningful jewelry.

Each day, she wakes up inspired, channeling her creativity into pieces that encourage women to embrace happiness, inner beauty, and confidence. Her designs are inspired by the richness of women’s lives and the quiet beauty of everyday moments.

At Theia Jewelry, small studio environments foster creativity and community. Kate is committed to cultivating supportive workplaces in both South Korea and the U.S., where artistry and creativity are celebrated.
